What to expect.

Included with every session:

  • Personalized communication. You won’t see an automated email from me, ever. Email, text or call anytime. No question is too silly. I’m here to make your dream photoshoot a reality.

  • A list of pre-scouted locations. Taking the guess work out of your session. Let me suggest the best spots for dreamy sunsets, fields of flowers, or rustic woods.

  • Flexible shooting time. Let’s not set a timer. We’ll take our time, but I won’t take up too much of your evening. Expect to photograph between thirty minutes and an hour and a half.

  • Fine tuned editing style, by me. Not AI. 80% of my work is behind the scenes. I enjoy the full process of being your photographer. I cull each and every photo we take (and that could be over 1000 images!). I personally edit every single photo that ends up in your gallery. Ensuring that each photo meets the artful documentary style of photography that I advertise on my website.

  • No outsourcing, no social media, no associate shooters. It’s all me! I do not hire out any of my photography business. From this website, to your finished gallery. I take pride in offering an entire photography experience from beginning to end. And no social media…because word of mouth is just more fun!

  • I take privacy very seriously. Please let me know if you’d rather I not display your family on my website. Although I absolutely love sharing each and every session in my portfolio, I understand, as a mother myself, the desire to keep family life private.

  • Becoming friends is a real possibility… when clients turn into friends, I jump for joy! I love meeting new people and really getting to know you. I can’t wait to meet you and hear your story.

A session with me is sort of like an impromptu night at the beach, or a hike through the trails.

I will ask you to move, a lot. Dance, sway, or run up a dune, coaching you along the way so movement feels natural and maybe even a little bit silly.

Our session will be swift, but efficient, photographing for an hour or so, maybe more. Let’s not rush. I want to get to know you.

You’ll see your gallery in your inbox 1-3 weeks later and find that we did in fact capture a photo of everyone smiling (yay for Christmas cards!), and more importantly, the in-between moments that we all love but never seem to catch.
